From the vault
The Bridgestone RB-2 is one of the better-forgotten road bikes of the late '80s — Grant Petersen-era geometry, proper lugged steel construction, and a Suntour Cyclone drivetrain that actually ages gracefully. This one came in from an estate sale in the Catalina Foothills in near-original condition: original paint, decals intact, and the original Suntour friction shifters still indexed perfectly once we cleaned them. It's a 58 cm, which means it fits a tall rider who knows what they're getting into.
We overhauled the bottom bracket and headset with fresh grease, cleaned and lubed the full drivetrain, replaced the brake cables and housing, and trued both wheels. The Brooks B17 in honey is included and has a decent amount of break-in already done — somebody rode this bike. Everything works the way it should. It's not a wallhanger, it's a rider.
