Kid-proven
The Specialized Hotrock 20 is the kids' bike that actually holds up — alloy frame, 20" wheels, and geometry that lets a kid who's learned to ride actually feel like they're riding a real bike instead of a toy. This one came in from a family whose kid aged out of it, and it shows the typical signs of a well-loved kids bike: a few handlebar scuffs and a chain that needed love. Fits riders approximately 6–8 years old or 44–52" tall.
We cleaned the drivetrain, replaced the chain, adjusted the coaster brake so it grabs cleanly without grabbing early, trued both wheels, and pumped the tires. The single-speed setup means there's nothing to shift wrong and nothing to break — exactly what you want for a kids' bike. It runs like new.
