It's the Gray Smoke! The paint that made this bike famous... Diamond Back Apex Mountain Bike with Tange Cr-mo frameset in Extra Large (21") for riders 5'10"-6'2". Full Shimano Deore build includes the hubs, drivetrain, cranks (175mm).

Tange frame and fork are famously treated with the gray smoke paint effect, rumored to have utilized actual candle smoke in the painting process! Double downtube bottle cages, extra high riser bars, pulley directed cantilever brake and underbody u-brake. Concave Weinmann rims add to the unique features. Friction front shifting on the 3 Shimano Biopace chainrings, indexed rear shifting through the 6 cogs. New tires, seatpost, saddle cover, cables, housing, bottle cages, grips, pedals. I can deliver anywhere in the greater Tucson area for just $40!
